Siobhán Daffy is a spoken word poet. She enjoys accompanying herself on percussion and Ngoni African harp and she loves collaborating with other artists and musicians. She has been published in many journals and magazines including Headstuff - online Arts and culture Blog: Poem of the week April 2016, The Stony Thursday Book, Southword, THE SHOp Magazine, Cuirt Journal, Crannog Magazine, Orbis, and Equinox magazines. Horse’s Hooves is her first CD of poetry and music, launched May 28 th 2016.

She has performed at the Electric Picnic Festival, Body & Soul Festival and the Redline Festival. She has also written for RTE Radio 1, A Living Word. She runs Natural Rhythms, a holistic healing business and a collaborative arts practice with rhythm and poetry.

Siobhán has facilitated many music/percussion programs and events with people of all ages and stages in schools, special needs groups, theatres, community groups and business settings. She has worked as associate artist/facilitator with Tallaght Community Arts and The Mobile Music School, Ireland.

Siobhán has had the privilege to train with many exceptional teachers of voice and percussion including Chloe Goodchild (UK), Naked Voice director and facilitator www.thenakedvoice.com Arthur Hull (U.S.) renowned Drum circle facilitator www.villagemusiccirlces.comand the Kake Dance Ensemble, Ghana, West Africa. She has been the recipient of several Arts Council Awards.
